Welcome to Mount Dennis! - Mount Dennis is an multi-modal transit station serving both the TTC and the GO/UPX system. Located just east of Eglinton Avenue and Weston Road in the Mount Dennis area, in the former borough of York, it's a station on GO Transit's Kitchener line and is the western terminus of the Eglinton Crosstown. It opened on November 16, 2025, for GO Transit, TTC bus and UP Express services, and February 8, 2026, for Line 5.
The station is situated on what used to be Kodak Heights, a sprawling camera manufacturing facility operated by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1918 to 2004. The station uses Kodak Building 9, a substantial heritage building and local landmark which was moved in a complex operation during construction of the Crosstown, and is currently host to a few community uses and an station entrance. Additionally, the Eglinton Maintenance and Storage Facility is also located on the lands.
The western phase of the Eglinton Crosstown is currently being built west of this station, and will connect Toronto's rapid transit system to Mississauga, at Renforth and Eglinton. The western phase began construction in 2021 and is expected to be completed (possibly...) in 2031.
While I never travelled to this area much, it does have a neat little area on Weston where there's a number of older shops and things to do.
