Great Amwell war memorial is a Latin cross set on a tapering shaft, stepped plinth and three steps. It is all set on a square base. The memorial commemorates the residents of Great Amwell who were killed or missing in the First World War (25 names) and the Second World War (7 names). The names are on the faces of the plinth in black lettering.
