Mrs McMike2012 & I are working on some Challenge Caches which involve both Event Caches & CITO Caches ... so what better way to get to the required numbers on particular Days-of-the-Week than to host the Events ourselves.
This one obviously involves things happening on a Monday.
Where: At the Waikaraka Cemetery, in Onehunga, on the Southern side of the Cemetery, that borders the Waikaraka Cycleway/Walkway, that runs alongside the Northern edge of the Mangere Inlet. If you are familiar with OmaRapeti's Multi-Cache: GCB121T: Sticks & Stones (Waikaraka) ... then you'll be in the right spot, more or less.
Date: Monday, 30th March 2026
Time: 10.30am till 11.30am
Park in the car-park ... we'll be starting the CITO, towards the end of the road that runs around the outside of the Cemetery.
Come along for a clean-up in & around the Waikaraka Cemetery & along The Waikaraka Cycleway/Walkway ... we'll concentrate on the areas that can be easily walked from the car-parking spot.
It will be High-Tide at 9.39am ... but there will be no expectation or requirement to go down/over the sea-wall or anywhere near the water or onto the mud-flats.
Event will take place regardless of the weather ... toughen up!
Bring your own water bottle.
