Welcome to the Seidman "It's the..." Series! This collection of five caches will take you along the northern loop of Seidman Park, about a 1.5 mile walk. This series will require some bushwhacking and rough terrain, so come prepared. During certain times of year the park can be muddy and/or buggy. I recommend doing the loop clockwise, starting at the Honey Creek Ave Trailhead.
At the final, there will be a code number you will need to solve the bonus. Now to the cache:
It's the Gully!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. This is a letterbox hybrid. Follow the below directions to find the cache.
At the posted coordinates, you will be near a trail marker where a small gully crosses the path. Follow the arrow for #13 and cross the gully.
Continue along the trail, with the gully on your right. Within about 20 paces, you should reach a fork. One way goes slightly uphill toward a trail tag with a blue blaze; the other follows the gully.
Guess what? It's the Gully!
After about 20 more steps, the trail bends to the left. Leave the trail and walk along the gully, keeping its southern bank in your sights (you may need to dodge undergrowth!).
You should soon see a large pile of fieldstones- this means you are on the correct track!
Continue on until the gully becomes more shallow. You’ll soon see a giant intact tree along its southern bank.
Keep going just a little farther and you'll see a similar sized tree that is broken. That is where your treasure lies!
