Geocache Description:

As of 260302, HQ has approved this event for Maker Magic. Thanks to all the cachers that are helping.

Please contact Kris32 if you have something to contribute and/or would like to be involved. This event is for the caching community.

Creative Containers and higher quality logbooks and swag:

There will be creative cache containers, logs, and swag on display from local cachers.

--I will have various 3D printed cache containers on display and links to use to find models to print on your own (it's possible to do without any cost)
--I will have some logbooks to decorate, either with geocaching decals or sharpies, for those who are better artists.
--I will have some containers to decorate, either with geocaching decals or sharpies, for those who are better artists.
--I will have examples of customized swag you can put in caches
--I will have some "take and make" or "make and take" packets of paracord to make your own swag. You can start this at the library. Finishing requires a lighter and that will have to happen outside the library.
--I will have some creative cache containers on display that you can buy (from geocaching vendors) (For example, geocaching help pages, labels these as "Disguised Micros", https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=128&pgid=75)
--I will have the link to make Bkip's "hockey puck" creative container (he's not local anymore). Bkip is mailing me one so hopefully we have one on hand to display.
--I will have a NFC tag on hand to help those cachers that do not know about this technology and it's application to caches.
--I will have a few things I've reclaimed from my walks in the desert that you can make into a cache (we might try to do this before the event and give these away)
--mineral54 will have at least one of her gnome house cache containers on display and instructions on how she makes these
--mineral54 will have some "take and make" packets to make your own bottle cap cache with instructions
--mineral54 will have example materials on hand so you know what supplies to buy
--mineral54 will have 2 gadget caches on hand
--Allyn56 will have a part of his gadget cache for display and instructions on how to make your own
--Me&Bucky will make sure I have an example of his wall plate cache (also considered a "Disguised Micro")
--PooperHero will have an example of one of their signature items and how it is made (will need to be done at home)

Due to the smells of glues and epoxies, we will not be making these indoors at the library. Do the messiness of clays and paint we won't be doing any active clay making or wet painting during the event.

Info you will be able to take with you:
I will compile info on local library services that can help you in creating your own 3D printed cache, fancier geocaching logs, and upscaled swag.

Meet and greet:
For new and existing geocachers, meet and chat with the local community. For those completely new, I will have introductory geocaching info.

For the room:
I said we would NOT serve refreshments.
We have a hard stop and have to be out by 11:30am.
