Windhoek offers many viewpoints, but few spots place you quite so symbolically in the middle.
To one side stands the historic Christuskirche, a reminder of the city’s early architectural heritage. To the other rises the Independence Memorial Museum, marking Namibia’s path to freedom. Between these two landmarks lies a small traffic island — a place where history, belief & forward movement meet.
This cache is hidden safely on the roundabout island & can be accessed via the zebra crossings from either side. Please take care when crossing & be mindful of traffic.
The container is small but sturdy & weather-resistant. It contains a logbook & pencil.
