Trash Wars: Return of the CITO-I.
We made a huge improvement here last time. Fingers crossed we can make a big difference again.
Thanks to the Prince William County Parks and Forest Park High School Student Environmental Association (SEA), we have been able to establish a CITO at the Independent Hill Trail March 22nd @2:00 pm. There are gravel and grass areas that can be cleaned. This is a handicap accesible CITO.
The parks have been kind enough to supply us with gloves and trash bags for the event; but feel free to bring any grabbers, gloves, or other ameneties you may want to have with you during the cleanup. Also remeber to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. to ensure an enjoyable experience while keeping our parks clean.
