Handsworth Park is one of Birmingham’s Premium parks and dates back to Victorian times. It has a fascinating history, and you can find a comprehensive description, way too long for here at The Handsworth Creative website

There’s a real lack of caches in my area so hopefully these will fill that gap and also encourage more visitors into our wonderful green space! These are my first caches so feedback gratefully accepted.
Concrete with a Heartbeat is a well known poem from one of our own, Benjamin Zephaniah and this cache takes to the fabulous new mural in the park, commissioned after his death, and created by Create Not Destroy.
The cache gives you a great view of the mural. The mural is wheelchair accessible but the cache is across a bit of grass which gets muddy in winter.
