SideTracked - Doodlakine
Location Information
About the Location
The current Doodlakine townsite was formed around the railway's development, and led to the ultimate demise of the former townsite, which was near the Doodlakine Well, and was a location where the coaches changed horses in the late 1800s. The former station building no longer exists, and the railway station is now a short way out of town, reflective of the modern standard build across the TransWA network.
