A day in Seward Alaska
Springtime in Seward?
Seward is a mecca of activity in the summer. April is a bit less crowded and some days are spectacular. Come join us for a quiet day in Seward. Is it spring? We will not know that until then.
We are going to visit, chat up geocaching, have a snack and draw for prizes. This should be a great time to grab caches in Seward and along the way. Seward has some unique caches, KMTA caches, Earthcaches and Adventure Labs. What a day to get some stats.
Seward has many other activities. The Sealife Center is a great place to spend a few hours. Great place for kids. The Exit Glacier Road may or may not be open yet. The snow depth will dictate that. Good place for some hiking. Check out the Seward website for other activities.
Today there is the Seward Kite Festival. There will be kite flying festivites, including food trucks. It does not bring huge crowds but it is fun to watch. Rumor has it a couple of geocachers are kite flyers. Bring a kite, we will cheer you on.
Its time to get out, dust off the winter and get spring and summer up and running.
