Make your way down to Seward for a fun day at the sea. Come celebrate with fellow geocachers in Seward as the locals celebrate the new season. We will have snacks, prizes and general caching fun. There are many geocaches in Seward from easy to difficult. The drive to Seward is so amazing. There are many KMTA geocaching Geo Trail caches on the way. Spring should have released many caches along the way.
This is the day Seward opens the boat harbor season, and the entire community comes together to celebrate. There will be vendors and food trucks. It is very festive.The locals celebrate with a mermaid theme. The is a special prize for anyone that decides to be a mermaid, siren, pirate, or anything. Most of the restaurants, stores, and gift shops are open after a long closed winter. There is a lot to do in Seward. Fishing, hiking, tours, drives, biking and of course, geocaching. And with all this you can visit with fellow cachers and get a valuable smiley.
