The Arikaree Breaks are a 36-mile-long, 2-to-3-mile-wide stretch of steep, rugged, and unexpectedly deep canyons and gullies located in the far northwest tip of Kansas. They are known as the Kansas Badlands.
The Arikaree geocache (GC31) is a historic, traditional cache placed on May 31, 2000, near St. Francis, Kansas, making it one of the oldest active geocaches in the world.
