First, I should explain how this cache got its name. I have lived in South Dakota much of my life. There are winter storms which are mild and then there are blizzards. Blizzards reduce visibility to near zero at times with winds exceeding 60 mph blowing blinding snow. I have experienced blizzard storms where I could not see the car in the driveway 30 feet away. There are many accounts of blizzards in which farmers and ranchers have ventured away from buildings and lost their lives to exposure because they could not find their way back to any building on their property. Recently, I experienced a dust storm in southwest Texas which reminded me of these South Dakota blizzards. The phenomenon gave me the idea for this cache. . N 35° W 101°
