Geocache Description:

This cache was hidden in the Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit for the 2026 All Things Wisconsin West Bend Cache Ba$h.

Note: The trail is open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. The forest is open to public hunting during established seasons. Consult the DNR website for more information.

In the woods where soft rains fall,
Spring awakens, calling all,
Buds appear on branch and tree,
Hints of life for all to see.

A cocoon, so still and small,
Clings in quiet, hidden wall,
Change is happening out of sight,
Soon to bloom in wings of light.

With map in hand, I wander through,
Following trails in fresh, bright hue,
A hidden cache beneath new leaves,
Tucked among the budding trees.

Then butterflies lift in the air,
Drifting light without a care,
Spring reveals what time has grown—

Life and wonder newly shown.

Thanks to jspleva for the geocache container!
