We hope you will enjoy these new caches and may also learn something new when you are caching, thank you!

Didcot #127 - Parallel to Train Tracks No. 3

This is a long and straight foot & cycle path called Hanson Way, extending from Marsh Lane, Didcot at northwest towards Fulscot at southeast. This part of the Hanson Way is parallel to the railway tracks which connect Didcot Parkway and Cholsey stations. When you walk/cycle along this path, many trains will pass by next to you in both directions.

The entire Hanson Way is a 13.6-mile route on the National Cycle Network, connecting Oxford to Abingdon.

Please be safe and careful, especially when visiting with GeoKids and/or GeoPets. No cache is hidden on any of the railway properties.

About this cache:

There is a bench here, where you may sit and have a rest, and enjoy viewing the passing-by trains in both directions.

Please also note:

Please bring your own pen, and open & close the cache lid carefully so the cache and log book can survive longer.

Please also replace exactly as found due to obvious reason. Please expect muggles at many times of the day. Some stealth may be needed.

You do not need to enter any private land or cross any fence.

Thank you and enjoy GeoCaching!

FTF: Congratulations to Mad H@ter and muddy legs for their Joint FTF on 8 March 2026!
