Some cachers like to target old caches. Old caches are split in to two groups old by age usually 2000, 2001, and 2002 since this age group is less common in Australia or old by type since when geocaching started there were only trads, no other type. The second group usuallt target the 5 oldest active caches in trads, puzzles, multi's, wherigos, virtuals, webcams, letterboxes and earth cches ( Australia has the oldest earth cache in the world ). On a side note some cachers also do the oldest by listed size on the cache page.
