We're teaming up with Great American Cleanup, and they are providing our CITO with the following items: safety vests, trash bags, and gloves. The plan is to pick up trash for an hour, then to meet back up to tally how much shoreline and area was cleaned, and to count how much trash was picked up to report back to the Great American Cleanup represenative. We will also be drawing for a prize or two at the end. In the event of severe or rainy weather, the CITO will be rescheduled to a future date.

Update: I just got a micro-grant from OG&E! So, now I will have light refreshments, such as water, donuts, cookies, and maybe coffee if enough money is leftover. Also, I will have more trash cleanup supplies for giveaway, such as buckets, and TOTTS aka grabbers. Due to limited numbers, those who signed up first online will get first pick.
Update: I got the supplies today, and GAC sent me fewer supplies than I signed up for. Thus I'll have to limit some supplies to those who have signed up first online. However I'll try to make sure that we have enough bags and plastic gloves for everyone.
