Geocache Description:

I had a great time watching this bridge being built from the foundations to the attachment of this bikepath and lights.  There's so much engineering that goes into the construction of a bridge like this, not to mention how beautiful it is. For instance, at each column this roadway has 6 horizontal viscous fluid filled dampers, which are like giant shock absorbers, to prevent damage to the columns during seismic movement of the bridge. You can see them at the roadway joint of each column. There are 34 such dampers here and at the ends of the roadway. Imagine the roadway held up by the cable-stays like a marionette, and swinging side to side during an earthquake; these dampers, and others, act to slow that sideways swing of energy down to a manageable level the bridge can handle.

The initial coordinates take you to one of these damper locations - imagine the bridge sections moving back and forth and how strong this damping system needs to be to keep the bridge in one piece.

The trailhead gate opens at 6 am and closes at 9 pm daily, be sure to mind your time returning to the parking lot.

Solve this easy puzzle for your final coords.
