✨Maker Magic is back!✨

Join Brew The Builder for a Maker Magic Event to celebrate the geocachers who hide caches, maintain them, host events, and help keep the game fun for everyone.

"Yes we can!"

Whether you’re a seasoned cacher with thousands of finds or someone brand new to the game, you are invited to join us for a friendly gathering to celebrate the people who make geocaching special.

This event will highlight the caches that keep the game going. There will be a brief presentation about hiding caches: such as finding locations, getting accurate coordinates, etiquette, and submission to the Reviewer. There will also be some hands on "magic making". The CO will provide some DIY equipment to work on, and all other attendees are encouraged to bring along some of their own projects or materials to share some of your creations or ideas. You can create individually or as a group. Lets' share the magic! 

Disposable gloves will be provided. BYO apron or protective clothing in case you make a mess. 

Any projects you create you can take home with you, and hopefully we will see them out in the wild in the near future. However, nothing that requires a special TOTT to reach please! 

You will earn a Maker Magic souvenir for attending this event. 

Together, we can create the magic that makes geocaching such a unique worldwide game.

Event Details

📍 Location: Silverwater Park, Clyde Street, Silverwater. Meet at the shelter by the water.

📅 Date: Sunday 12th April, 2026

⏰ Time: 11:00am - 12:00 noon

🅿️ Parking:  There is free parking nearby. Access is from Silverwater Rd or Clyde St.

🚌 Public Transport: The 525 bus runs from Parramatta station.

BYO snacks and drinks. The nearby pub has food and drink if you feel like anything after (or before) the event.

Bring your magic, equipment, and stories.

New cachers, experienced cachers, accidental muggles who wander over to see what we’re doing — everyone is welcome.

No magic wand required… though a GPS and a sense of community to help each other would be useful.
