CITO
What is a CITO?
Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 730,000 people have volunteered at 41,000 CITO events. GeocacheAlaska! and it's members have created CITO's in campgrounds, doing end of summer clean up. There have been trail maintenance CITOs and there was a wildflower planting event.
We will meet at Loretta French Park off the Old Glenn Highway. We will be doing spring cleanup at the park. There will be coffee and water, along with some snacks. If you would like to show off your snack skills please feel free.
And Prizes!!!! There will be a prize for the best item picked up in the park. There is always someting funny around.
GeocacheAlaska! will provide trashbags and gloves.
