This cache brings you to the village of Hågat, next to Marcial A. Sablan Elementary School. Hidden near a public basketball court, this spot highlights an important part of our village life which is community recreation.
The court is an open-air, concrete, full size basketball court with regulation basketball hoops and painted lines. Like many village courts across the island, it is commonly used for casual pickup games and everyday recreation, especially in the late afternoon and early evening. As of March 2026, the court barely sees players these days as the rims on both basketball rims are broken and out of place.
Agat Bottom Court is part of the coastal lowlands of Hågat, an area managed as public recreational space by the Guam Department of Parks and Recreation. The surrounding coastline is also historically significant, as nearby beaches were part of the 1944 Battle of Guam landings.
The cache is placed away from the playing surface and does not interfere with games or equipment. Please be respectful of others using this area and search only when it's safe and appropriate.
This is a public, family-friendly location, so stealth and courtesy are appreciated as there are residents across the street. Replace the cache exactly as found and enjoy the views up at the top of the hill as well!
