I need an event for the end of March, and google tells me that March 28 is Respect Your Cat Day. Sounds good to me! If you don't have a cat of your own to respect, my cat Frenemy will be the designated Respected Cat. No, he will not be making an in-park appearance.
We'll meet from 9-9:30am at Las Reinas Woman's Club park in La Habra. This was the site of the former Woman's Club building, and you can see what it looked like in older streetview images. Now there's a nice park with picnic tables and grills, a playground, exercise equipment, and meandering paths. No bathrooms, so plan accordingly. Street parking is available; if parking on the east side of the park on Park Place, note that parking is only allowed on the park side of the street, not in front of the houses. Leashed dogs are welcome in La Habra parks.
We'll aim for the picnic shelter, and if it's occupied we'll pick another table nearby.
