The Danish way of Event
What is the point of the event?
This event is a normal Event Cache, which means you SHOULD socialise with people and NOT collect garbage ;)
In Denmark this is a normal hygge event :)
And in order for it to be a real hygge event, we will need to minimum have two attendees (myself included), to do a real hygge event. That requires some teamwork!
Why should I attend?
1. Well, you have an extra event attended, if you came after CITO :D
2. You are (hopefully) together with other geocachers!
3. The grass is hopefully much greener than before :)
4. Even if you aren't Danish, you can still join!
How do I get there?
Since I use a youth public transport card to travel around Victoria state, you can get to Geelong station from Melbourne using the trains, or of course the coaches, if you are like me coming from places like Apollo Bay :)
When is the event?
30th of March 2026 (monday), at 17:00-17:30
Should I take something with me?
I will be bringing TBs from around Europe, received in Denmark to this event. Please bring also your own TBs, I would like for them to travel aswell! :D
Otherwise in Denmark some usually take cakes with them. I am on a budget and can't bake a cake on the spot in Apollo Bay, therefore I won't be taking anything with me other than hygge and TBs :)
If you want to take a cake with you to share, go for it, I won't complain. Otherwise you MUST bring hygge with you ;)
