This small park along the Northeastern Shoreline of Silverlake is great for those of use that live nearby and can easily walk, not so much if you are trying to park and check this spot out, so when planning a search for this cache, keep that in mind. The fishing is great at this park in the early spring if you can figure out what depth the fish are at. I'd recommend using an egg Sinker with a 2-2.5ft leader with a few floating power eggs, works nearly every time for me. The beach is also great for wading and swimming with plenty of space if it starts to fill up. Living across the street from this beach for a year now, this spot quickly became a favorite of mine and when I noticed that the old cache that was here when I first moved in had finally been archived, I decided it was time to place of my own.
