🇬🇧 Moldtelecom Building
In the very heart of Chișinău, on the city’s main street, rises a massive building that is impossible to miss. Its strict vertical lines, functionalist modernism, and tall antenna tower immediately reveal its Soviet-era origins. This is Moldtelecom, formerly the Ministry of Communications, built in 1983.
Over the years, it has witnessed the city’s history: surviving the earthquakes of 1977 and 1986, it stands as a symbol of strength and engineering skill of that time.
Walking past, you can feel how it dominates the city center, preserving the atmosphere of a past when communication was a strategic resource and architecture reflected the power of the state.
The cache is hidden in a safe area near the entrance. It is accessible to visitors and out of camera view, but many people pass by, so please be cautious while searching.

🇷🇴 Clădirea Moldtelecom
În inima Chișinăului, pe strada principală a orașului, se ridică o clădire impunătoare, imposibil de trecut neobservată. Liniile sale verticale stricte, modernismul funcțional și turnul înalt cu antene trădează imediat originile sale din perioada sovietică. Aceasta este Moldtelecom, fostul Minister al Comunicațiilor, construită în 1983.
De-a lungul anilor, a fost martora istoriei orașului: a rezistat cutremurelor din 1977 și 1986 și rămâne un simbol al rezistenței și al măiestriei inginerești din acea perioadă.
Trecând pe lângă clădire, se simte cum domină centrul orașului, păstrând atmosfera trecutului, când comunicațiile erau un bun strategic, iar arhitectura reflecta puterea statului.
Cache-ul este ascuns într-o zonă sigură, lângă intrare. Este accesibil vizitatorilor și nu este surprins de camere, însă circulă mulți oameni, așa că fiți atenți în timpul căutării.

Seine strengen vertikalen Linien, der funktionalistische Modernismus und der hohe Antennenturm verraten sofort seine sowjetische Herkunft. Dies ist Moldtelecom, ehemals das Ministerium für Kommunikation, erbaut 1983.
Im Laufe der Jahre wurde es Zeuge der Geschichte der Stadt: Es überstand die Erdbeben von 1977 und 1986 und steht als Symbol für Stärke und Ingenieurskunst jener Zeit.
Wenn man daran vorbeigeht, spürt man, wie es das Stadtzentrum dominiert und die Atmosphäre der Vergangenheit bewahrt, als Kommunikation eine strategische Ressource war und Architektur die Macht des Staates widerspiegelte.
Der Cache ist in einem sicheren Bereich in der Nähe des Eingangs versteckt. Er ist für Besucher zugänglich und außerhalb der Kamerasicht, aber es laufen viele Menschen vorbei, also seien Sie beim Suchen vorsichtig.
