The Skipton Embsay Circular (SEC) is a loop of 8 caches talking you through woodland and alongside fields and becks. It's one of our favourite walks in the area.
The route is approx 5km in total and should take you 1-2 hours depending on walking pace, how long you stop to admire the views and if you stop for refreshments at just after the half way point (we usually do!)
This circular caching loop will take you across a busy road so please take care with younger Geocachers and Geohounds.Between #8 and back to the start of the loop you will be walking on a footpath quite close to a busy road for a short period, so please do take care, even though there are barriers to protect pedestrians.
Suggested parking on the housing estate nearby. Please do not park on the main road out of Skipton. If pulling up and doing this cache as a drive by, please park sensibly and do not obstruct access roads.
Your first cache is a disguised container. This can be a high muggle area at certain times of day so please take care not to be spotted. Replace cache as found.
