Karkoo Nursery is set in the historic Mount Lofty Railway Station, where you can wander through the beautiful garden centre, home and gift store, filled with great value plants, pots, garden art and antiques.
The café offers good coffee, homemade scones, cake or gourmet sourdough (train themed) toasties. There is an upstairs indoor seating area or outdoor, sheltered platform seating, depending on the weather on the day. You may even see a train go past!
There is plenty of parking available in the carpark.
All are welcome. Eating and drinking is optional. You can stay the entire time, or just drop by for a minute.
Take the opportunity to visit the scenic Adelaide Hills and search for a few caches while in the area!
