HOG is pigging out at the dam again, for our 4th dam cookout!
HOG will supply the dam roast hog, condiments, paper plates, and plasticware! That's right, we got a master smoker helping us out (no, it's not Harry this time) and we're gonna be pigging out on some smoked hog shoulders. Sounds kinda cannibalistic when you put it that way...but notice I didn't capitalize 'hog' in a few key places.
In your 'Will Attend,' please mention an item you would like to contribute to the dam cookout to share (if you are able). It is not required to bring anything but yourself, but it would definitely help and be appreciated! Recommendations: bottled water, other drinks (soda, lemonade, etc), chips, sides, desserts. Please try to log a 'Will Attend' (with a headcount!) at least 1 week in advance so we know how much meat to purchase. If we don't know you're coming you are still more than welcome to join us...you just might need to bring your own meat. Haha
Where: Delaware Lake below-dam shelter house Elm Grove (closest to the parking lot). If you see lots of pink and pig decor around, you're in the right dam place. There is plenty of dam parking available. This dam park is easily accessible from St. Rt. 23.
What: It's a dam HOG Wallow, cookout style! Come pig out with HOG!
When: Saturday, June 20 at 12:30 until whenever we decide we're done...but officially until at least 2:30 PM. This event is rain or shine.
We will give away door prizes and have a 50/50 raffle (proceeds help fund HOG events such as this one!)
