📍 Location: Riverside Park Parking Lot – Grand Rapids, Michigan

⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Join us for a special Maker Magic–inspired geocaching event designed to celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of building unique geocache containers! Whether you’re a seasoned cache owner or just getting started, this event is all about sharing ideas, learning new tricks, and getting inspired.

This isn’t your typical meet-and-greet—this is a Trunk-or-Treat: Geocache Edition! Attendees are invited to bring a creative, gadget, or cleverly designed geocache and display it from the trunk of their vehicle (or a small setup nearby). Participants will be able to walk around from “trunk to trunk,” exploring a variety of imaginative cache designs—from sneaky camouflage hides to fun and interactive gadget caches.

What to Bring (Optional but Encouraged!)

• A creative or gadget geocache (finished or prototype)
• Decorations for your trunk/display (totally optional, but fun!)
• Your best ideas and enthusiasm for geocaching

🗓 Event Schedule

5:00 PM – Meet & Greet
We’ll kick things off with a casual gathering to say hello, sign the log, and connect with fellow geocachers.

5:10 PM – Trunk-or-Treat Showcase Begins
The main event! Walk around and explore each display, chat with cache creators, and see how different caches are built and designed.

5:10 PM – Contest & Voting
Attendees can vote for their favorite creations in fun categories:

• 🧠 Most Creative Cache
• 🌿 Best Camouflage
• 😂 Funniest Design

6:00 PM – Wrap-Up & Final Thoughts
We’ll announce winners (bragging rights included!) and wrap up with any final discussions, ideas, or group photos.

6:00 PM – Take A Walk
We'll take a walk to see what that annoying sound has been annoying us the whole event. Maybe we will have to take a break 1/2 a mile (ish) away from the posted coordinates. Every one that attends the event can claim a FTF on the sound.... ;D
