The Grey Wolf Award is the ultimate award for a Cub Scout. This can be attained by participating in a number of activities, including higher skills of assisting and leading activities to achieve Milestones 1,2 & 3. Outdoor Adventure Skill Areas (OAS) develop skills in Camping, Bushcraft and Bushwalking to stage 3 level (there are 8 stages in total). Also required is 6 Special Interest Areas (SIA) that are in a number of different catagories, as well as a Leadership Course and an Adventourous Journey.
To achieve my Grey Wolf Award, I have already completed badges in some of the OAS areas and levels, and 4 SIA's in Little Athletics, Christmas Baking, Tasmania Adventure and being a Joey Helper Assistant.
I attended my One-Day Leadership Course with other Cubs from different Scout Groups from around the district and have been on camps and hikes where I learnt many new skills.
I have created this hide as part of a Geocaching SIA. I hope you like it as it is my first hide and is placed at a spot I love to attend and gain many new skills.
