Willkommen in Goslar am schönen Harzrand. Schön, dass du unsere Geotour besuchst.
(dieser Cache) Adelhards Freunde in Goslar
Unser Maskottchen Adelhard ist natürlich vor dem Hintergrund der Geschichte Goslars entstanden und wurde insbesondere von Goslars Stadtwappen, dem Adler, inspiriert.
Eure Aufgabe ist es daher, Goslars Stadtwappen zu fotografieren.
Goslars Stadtwappen ist ein schwarzer, stilisierter Adler auf gelben Grund. Wer mit offenen Augen durch Goslar geht, wird ihn an vielen älteren Gebäuden finden, z.B. am Rathaus. Häufig übersieht man sie – aber dieses Mal nicht!
Aufgabe: Fotografiere Dich oder einen eindeutig Dir zuzuordneten Gegenstand 3x vor einem Adler in Goslar und poste die Bilder mit Deinem Log. Zusätzlich ist ein Foto vor dem goldenen Adler auf dem Brunnen (Listingkoordinate) verpflichtend!
Also: Insgesamt sind es 4 Bilder!
Nicht erlaubt sind natürlich Doppelungen, also z.B. den gleichen Adler aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln. An den angegebenen Wegpunkten könnte ein Adler zu finden sein - aber es müssen nicht diese sein! Wenn Du andere findest, nimm sie gerne!
Der Cache ist rollstuhlgeeignet, da die Adler in der Regel mindestens auf Kopfhöhe oder höher angebracht sind und ein Foto somit gut möglich sein sollte. Die T-Wertung ist auf die zurückzulegende Strecke bezogen!
Über die GeoTour
Goslar vereint auf besondere Weise Geschichte, Landschaft und Technik. Die historische Altstadt, das Erzbergwerk Rammelsberg und das Oberharzer Wasserregal bilden gemeinsam ein einzigartiges Ensemble, das als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe ausgezeichnet wurde und bis heute die Entwicklung der Region sichtbar macht.
Diese Geotour ist aus der Geocaching-Community heraus entstanden. Sie wurde von engagierten Cacherinnen und Cachern entworfen, entwickelt und getragen – mit dem Ziel, die Besonderheiten Goslars auf abwechslungsreiche Weise erlebbar zu machen und bekannte wie weniger bekannte Orte miteinander zu verbinden. Und unser Maskottchen Adelhard wird dich dabei begleiten.
Goslar ist immer eine Reise Wert, weil hier Treffen sich mehrere.

Here is the English translation:

Our mascot Adelhard was, of course, created against the backdrop of Goslar’s history and was particularly inspired by Goslar’s coat of arms, the eagle.
Your task is therefore to photograph Goslar’s coat of arms.
Goslar’s coat of arms is a black, stylized eagle on a yellow background. Anyone walking through Goslar with open eyes will find it on many older buildings, for example at the town hall. They are often overlooked—but not this time!
Task: Take 3 photos of yourself or an object clearly identifiable as yours in front of an eagle in Goslar and post the pictures with your log. Additionally, one photo in front of the golden eagle on the fountain (listing coordinates) is mandatory!
So: A total of 4 photos!
Duplicates are, of course, not allowed—for example, photographing the same eagle from different angles. At the specified waypoints, an eagle might be found — but it doesn’t have to be those exact ones! If you find others, feel free to use them!
The cache is wheelchair accessible, as the eagles are usually mounted at least at head height or higher, making it easy to take a photo. The T-rating refers to the distance to be covered!

Goslar uniquely combines history, landscape, and technology. The historic old town, the Rammelsberg ore mine, and the Upper Harz Water Management System together form a unique ensemble, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and still reveal the development of the region today.
This GeoTour originated from the geocaching community. It was designed, developed, and supported by dedicated cachers, with the goal of showcasing Goslar’s special features in an engaging way and connecting both well-known and lesser-known locations. And our mascot Adelhard will accompany you along the way.
