Plenty of parking at gz. Byop. Watch for muggles. No room for swag

Out here in The Plains, things feel a little different if you slow down enough to notice it.
This place has been around a long time. Back when Fauquier County was mostly farmland and dirt roads, people passed through here on horseback instead of cars. Travelers, farmers, even soldiers moving through during the American Civil War. It wasn’t a big, busy town—it was more of a stopping point. A place to pause.
And that kind of feeling never really left.
If you stand still for a minute, especially when it’s quiet, you start to notice little things. Reflections in the water, light bouncing in weird ways, shadows that don’t quite line up. Nothing crazy… just enough to make you wonder.
Like maybe this spot remembers more than it lets on.
That’s kind of the idea behind this cache.
Take a second, look around, and see what you notice.
Sometimes the reflection shows more than what’s right in front of you.
