Geocache Description:

Familiar, family-friendly campground on the Oregon Coast, featuring a tree-lined river for swimming, rafting and tubing, plus a waterfall.

Moonshine Park is a beautiful, secluded, seventy-eight acre park on the banks of the Upper Siletz River located in rural Logsden. Fishing and swimming holes are popular along this stretch of the Siletz.

I have spent many a day and nights here. this cache puts you at the upper end of a great short, litte set of rappeds great for tubing and be completed in about 10 min ending at the swimming hole -repeat until exausted.  .

The swimming hole (with ample beach for picnics) can best be accesed from the day use area.
