This will be a Educational Workshop combined with a Build-A-Cache workshop.
The event itself will be hosted in a park close to my home for some inspiration and so that the genius ideas can get a touch of nature where the caches is mostly placed.
Over the last year or so I’ve collected and printed a few interesting containers, and I’m planning on bringing some of that along. Several caches are in progress and how the finishing touches will be done will also be discussed.
If you have made a beautiful creation yourself with a 3D printer, mastered some creative artwork together, or whatever, feel free to bring it along!
If you're new to the game or to hiding caches, there'll hopefully be plenty of experienced COs on hand to take you through the process so we can help make your first hide a great one!
During this event, the aim is also to highlight creative caches and to brainstorm together with you, exchange ideas and tips, and hear/see stories/photos of which caches you loved and/or would like to see more of, who knows, we might even get to work on them!
I will showcase caches that I received from previous cachers which was part of the 'In the Shadow of the Dragon' event held in 2022 which I plan to plant in May. I will also explain and/or teach what I think make a good container. I will also share some guidelines for a good cache. I would love to create some wooden cache containers with you for hiding in May as well.
