This simple traditional cache leads you to a man-made relic at the edge of the forest, which also wonderfully illustrates the phenomenon of erosion.
I recommend parking your car at the Savudrija harbor; from there it's about a 10-minute walk to the cache.
You can cycle to within a few meters of the container.
Approx. 15 meters north of the final coordinates you will find a large, old concrete foundation that probably once served as a gun emplacement for the military.
The enormous, round concrete structure is approximately 6m in diameter, 1m high and stands on a column of earth that has been eroded over the years by rain and weathering. Remarkably, the surrounding forest floor is much lower than the foundation.
This shows that the ground level around the concrete was significantly higher at the time of construction and has since been washed away or eroded.
Today, the whole thing looks like a concrete mushroom in the pine forest.
The cache is not located on the concrete structure, but about 15 meters south of it.
Please hide and camouflage the cache again as you found it!

Dieser einfache Tradi führt Euch zu einem von Menschenhand geschaffenen Relikt am Waldrand, welches ganz nebenbei das Phänomen der Erosion wunderbar erfahrbar macht.
Ich empfehle das Parken mit dem Auto am Hafen von Savudrija, dann ist es ein Spaziergang von ca 10 min bis zum Cache.
Mit dem Rad kann man bis wenige Meter an die Dose fahren.
Etwa 15 Meter nördlich des GZ findet Ihr ein großes, altes Betonfundament, das früher vermutlich als Geschützstellung für das Militär gedient hat.
Der enorme, runde Betonkörper misst etwa 6m im Durchmesser, ist etwa einen Meter dick und steht auf einer Erdsäule, die an den Seiten über die Jahre von Regen und der Witterung ausgespült wurde.
Bemerkenswert ist, dass der umgebende Waldboden weit niedriger liegt als das Fundament.
Das zeigt, dass das Erdniveau rund um den Beton zur Bauzeit wesentlich höher war und seitdem rundherum weggespült wurde bzw. errodiert ist.
So wirkt das Ganze heute wie ein Betonpilz im Pinienwald.
Der Cache befindet sich nicht am Betonkörper, sondern etwa 15m südlich davon.
Bitte versteckt und tarnt den Cache wieder so, wie ihr ihn vorgefunden habt!
