Grab your Cap’n Crunch—bonus points if you remember digging to the bottom of the box for that plastic naval submersible—pour yourself a bowl, and turn the knob on the TV to your favorite Saturday morning cartoons.
Cheap animation, simple stories, and a steady lineup of heroes solving problems and taking on bad guys. Did Fred Flintstone get hit on the head with a bowling ball again? Did Judy Jetson get to go to the dance? And seriously… how much pizza were those Ninja Turtles eating?
Whatever your niche was, you probably had a few favorite villains. Over the years, cartoons gave us a steady parade of bad guys who were dramatic, sarcastic, sometimes incompetent… and honestly, half the reason we tuned in.
This cache is a tribute to those classic cartoon villains.
Location Notes:
This cache is placed well within the park. Please respect all posted boundaries and use common sense as you approach the search area. Do not approach from the high school.
You’re looking for an area with decent natural cover. The container is quite small and blends in well with its surroundings—think less “buried treasure” and more “subtle placement hiding in plain sight.”
Bring a pen to sign the log.
Some of my favorite Saturday morning villains:
Gargamel — seriously, what’s his deal? A middle-aged, balding guy whose whole life revolves around harassing Smurfs so he can… extract their essence? It’s oddly specific and a little disturbing.
Skeletor — let’s be honest, the real reason anyone watched He-Man. Voiced by Alan Oppenheimer, and absolutely chewing the scenery every chance he got. I still hear that indignant “WHAT?!” in my head.
Cobra Commander — part villain, part troll. Equal parts theatrical and unhinged, always one rant away from a total meltdown.
Dr. Claw — maybe the most mysterious of the bunch. We never see more than that forearm and clenched fist slamming down in frustration as Inspector Gadget somehow ruins everything again. “I’ll get you next time…” Sure you will.

Feel free to include in your log (totally optional): favorite cartoon villain + why (deep cuts welcome).
