Geocache Description:

Planned a second CITO in the area this spring because the team that oversees the Pollinator Garden at Princeton City Park needs some help to get the garden ready for the summer! There are some lovely volunteers who work on this garden faithfully and bring lots of beautiful pollinators to the area. It is very well-kept. You will probably learn some plant identification while here as everything in the garden is labeled!

There will be garden tidy-up, maybe planting, mulching, and taking out leaves and debris from the fall. There is a parking lot close by and this will be very flat terrain, so it is an easy walk. However, I am upping the terrain a bit because garden work is not always easy! Regardless of your capability level, there will be things that you can help with. If you have gardening gloves, a bucket for putting weeds in and a weeding tool with you, that will be helpful. If you don't feel comfortable on the ground, maybe bring a rake or hoe type of tool to help you do some things while standing up. We'll start at 6pm so that the sun is not too hot and cleanup for as long as we have energy to do so. I will bring some water as well in case anyone gets thirsty. Just follow the road through the park until you see the pool and park in the pool parking lot.

So, let's help Princeton City Park take care of their garden as they are hosts to some of our local caches! Of course, those caches will be there to find as well if you want to find them prior to the event. If you attend this CITO, and you haven't gotten it yet, you'll get your spring CITO 2026 souvenir on your geocaching profile! Hopefully the weather will be good! If the weather looks sketchy, I will post updates closer to that day.
