About the Cache
The container is not hidden at the published coordinates, although it is not far away: you will need to complete the Wherigo to find it. It should take about 15-20 minutes in total, depending on how good your general knowledge and/or lateral thinking is. The sandwich shop near the posted co-ordinates is popular, but the crowds are unlikely to impede you.
About the Cartridge
You can download the cartridge here. Once you have started the Wherigo cartridge in your chosen app simply answer some questions in a multiple-choice quiz. When you have answered sufficient questions correctly you will be provided with the co-ordinates for the container.
Please be aware that the Wherigo ecosystem is dated and fragile, so although I have tried to make the cartridge as robust as possible I cannot guarantee that it won't act up.
About the Agar Steps
The Agar Steps connect Kent Street and Upper Fort Street, and provide access to the Fort Street Model School and Sydney Observatory. They were designed as a continuation of Agar Street (now High Street) which was named after Thomas Agars, a merchant and City councillor, and were initially known as Flagstaff Steps.
Stairways such as Agar Steps were part of the Sydney City Council’s Victorian infrastructure boom, and are well known for the Victorian terraces that front onto them. The sophisticated level to which these stairways are detailed shows a level of civic pride and financial investment in pedestrian infrastructure that had not been undertaken previously in the city. The stairs also accommodate a group planting of fig trees more than 125 years old, and a cut through the sandstone bedrock which is the result of early sandstone quarrying in the area.
About Wherigos

To take part in this adventure you will need a Wherigo player on your phone (e.g. Wherigo on iOS, Whereyougo or Geooh Go on Android), or if you're old-school a Garmin Colorado or Garmin Oregon. You can go to the Wherigo site to download the cartridge. If using a phone select the Pocket PC option. Please note: this cartridge has been tested on an iPhone so I can't guarantee how well it will work on a dedicated GPS, which are known to be buggy.
Please provide feedback on the experience and the cache condition in your logs. Bring your own pen!
Congratulations to S777 on the FTF!
