In the summer and early fall, the nearby field is filled with tall and fragrant wildflowers. It's the perfect place to watch the bumble bees gathering the pollen which is their main protein source.
This is a series of caches that are meant to bring more visitors to Cedar Wood Preserve. All of the cache locations should be easily accessible and most are very close to the trail. The overall terrain in this series is not too difficult but there are some areas that are wet, muddy and hilly.
