This is a series of caches that are meant to bring more visitors to Cedar Wood Preserve. All of the cache locations should be easily accessible and most are very close to the trail. The overall terrain in this series is not too difficult but there are some areas that are wet, muddy and hilly.
When our kids were young, we used to take walks on some local trails and bring sandwiches with us and look for the perfect picnic spot. Our kids are adults now, but every year when we all go to New Hampshire, we make a point of continuing this tradition at one of our favorite trails. You will find this cache at the beginning of the red trail. It's a little bit away from the trail but it offers a nice view. There have been times when I have seen deer running through the trails below.
