BIO RIA by Bocage
Uma caminhada interpretativa de cerca de 6km, pelo interior do Bocage de Canelas e Fermelã, acompanhada por diversos paineis informativos sobre as diversas aves que poderão vir a observar durante o percurso, catapultam a experiência para níveis de excelência naturista.
Este trilho maravilhoso leva-nos a explorar um percurso natural da Ria de Aveiro: o BioRia em Salreu em caminhos de terra batida, criados para o contacto privilegiado com a paisagem lagunar. É um trajeto ideal para ser percorrido a pé ou de bicicleta, com ausência de grandes desníveis.
E qual a razão de ser "by Bocage"?
Simplesmente porque "O Bocage" é um bom exemplo do equilíbrio entre as atividades humanas e a Natureza.
"O Bocage" é um termo com origem em França e que é representado por pequenas propriedades separadas por sebes naturais, resultado da obra e engenho das populações locais.
Aqui podem encontrar um excelente exemplo desta distribuição por toda a planície, sendo um biótopo bem característico do Baixo Vouga Lagunar, detentor de uma paisagem singular e de uma elevada biodiversidade.
A venda destas pequenas parcelas com o intuito de garantir maiores áreas com o consequente destruíção destas barreiras naturais vai colocando em causa a biodiversidade da área.
A águia Sapeira e a Garça Vermelha, acima representadas e por esta ordem, podem ser facilmente avistadas pela área.
LAGOON RIA by Bocage
An interpretive walk of about 6km, through the interior of Bocage de Canelas and Fermelã, accompanied by several informative panels about the various birds that may be observed along the route, catapults the experience to levels of naturist excellence.
This wonderful route leads us to explore a natural trail of the Ria de Aveiro: the BioRia in Salreu on dirt paths, created for privileged contact with the lagoon landscape. It is an ideal route to be traveled on foot or by bicycle, with no major slopes.
And what is the reason for 'by Bocage'?
Simply because 'O Bocage' is a good example of the balance between human activities and Nature. 'O Bocage' is a term that originates from France and is represented by small properties separated by natural hedges, the result of the work and ingenuity of local populations. Here you can find an excellent example of this distribution throughout the plain, being a very characteristic biotope of the Baixo Vouga Lagunar, possessing a unique landscape and high biodiversity. The sale of these small plots with the aim of securing larger areas, consequently destroying these natural barriers, increasingly puts the area's biodiversity at risk.
The Sapeira Eagle and the Red Heron, depicted above and in this order, can be easily seen throughout the area.
