Fairy Lake is a beautiful location for a paddle on a spring or summer day. One can completely circumnavigate the entire lake at a leisurely rate in a couple of hours. As the summer progresses and moves into fall, the water level falls making access to some caches more problematic. In addition, you will find significant growth of the aquatic vegetation making paddling more difficult as well as shoreline vegetation making access more difficult.
This cache is only accessible by canoe or kayak (motorized boats are not permitted on Fairy Lake). Start at the launch point listed in the additional waypoints. I placed all of the caches on the lake without leaving my canoe but as water levels fall, access may become more difficult. This cache is probably the most challenging hide on the lake. You will likely need to leave your boat.
