Tong 2 Sleeper in the Larches Traditional Cache

This cache is the second in a short series of hides based in Tong, Eastling. This small wood contains mostly sweet chestnut, cherry, and ash, but it is punctuated by tall evergreen Larches that give the area its name. In this part of Kent, a shaw or shave is the name given to a narrow wood separating two fields. They are important for wildlife in that they often link larger areas of habitat.
