Cache Across Southern California 2026
Greetings gamers! Are you ready to explore video games through the ages? Find and locate one of the roughly 50 CASC geocaches across all 10 Southern California counties. As you find geocaches, you may stamp your passport to track your progress and turn it in at Signal's Island in San Diego to redeem your prize(s)!
Do not remove the stamp from the container, it is part of this geocache!
How do I use the CASC Passport?
Use the stamp in each CASC geocache and stamp any of the 25 small game tokens on the front page of the passport. At the bottom of each coin, write the GC code of the geocache that corresponds to the stamp provided. Then on the reverse side, circle or highlight the caches you found from the list. Doing these steps will increase efficiency and line management at Signal's Island.
CASC Prize Redemption
To qualify for prize redemption you must bring your completed passport to Signal's Island Goes M*A*S*H (GCBGC72) in San Diego on Saturday, October 3rd 2026. There are two award packages being offered: Silver and Gold. For the SILVER award, you must find at least 10 CASC geocaches in 3 counties. To qualify for the GOLD award, you must find at least 25 CASC geocaches in all 10 counties. Silver award includes a small geocaching goodie bag, but Gold award includes a complimentary CASC 2026 geocoin + the silver award prize. Only one prize package per qualifying account. Prize distribution will be on a first come first served basis.

Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode
Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode is an action video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) released in 1988. In this game the player takes on the role of Golgo 13 (also known as Duke Togo), a hitman whose assignment is to eliminate the leader of the Drek group. The story begins when a helicopter transporting a vial of a deadly bacillus known as "Cassandra G" is destroyed near the Statue of Liberty, but the vial is nowhere to be found in the wreckage. On the way, Golgo 13 must pass through several acts, including East Berlin, Athens, Rio de Janeiro, and Antarctica.
Letterbox Hybrid Instructions
You will be embarking on a three block adventure through downtown Taft as Golgo13 on a secret mission. Use your GPS to arrive at the posted coordinates then look up to the three digits posted twice. If the middle digit is 4 travel north, if it is 1 travel south, and if it is 3 travel west. After about 120 feet you will notice that you have arrived at the headquarters of the infamous Dodge Brothers. You do not have time to battle them so continue heading the same direction. 150 feet later you will see you are at the hideout of one of the world's most secret societies. They have been staging their operations from here since 1923! They are not your current mission, so continue on. Another 170 feet further you will observe another agent has scrawled you a message on the sidewalk. Agent Robin Williams spent his life hiding in plain sight as an actor, but his code name was Jack Dundee. He assures you that "you're in good" what? If "company" head north, "times" go east, "hands" south, or "shape" west. When you are able to, head that direction about 135 feet to the alley which is just past "210". Turn right 90 degrees and safely cross the street. After 140 feet you know you are going the right way when you discover you have heart. Go another 100 feet to prepare your LP Tech Shield as you get closer to your weapons cache. Only 30 feet more and you observe a large wooden box. Use code 7791 to get inside where you will find the items you need to finish your mission. Good luck.
