As White Rabbit breakfasts have been popular when occuring on a Sunday, this event has been organised to celebrate the May Day bank holdiay weekend.
The event will be taking place between 9:00 and 10:30 on Sunday 3rd May 2026
at
The Badgers Sett, Birmingham Rd, Hagley, Stourbridge DY9 9JS
The early May Bank Holday offers a long weekend that merges ancient spring traditions with modern relaxation. Established in 1978, it is a separate celebration from the political International Workers' Day on May 1st. Rabbits at the Maypole is a popular, whimsical theme in spring folklore, vintage, and craft designs, often featuring bunnies dancing around a ribboned pole. It blends spring fertility symbols with traditional May Day celebrations. It's also featured in literature, like Little Grey Rabbit's May Day.
Traditional activities like Maypole dancing, Morris dancing, and community fairs are often organised, but this event offers none of that, just a hearty breakfast with like minded friends. A great opportunity to meet up on a Sunday morning, for all the usual geo-chat of past adventures experienced and future plans, sharing news of great caches found or challenging series' completed or attempted. Trackable tags and geo-coins welcomed for discovering or moving on.
The venue offers a choice of 'All you can Eat' breakfasts. An unlimited continental breakfast or an unlimited cooked breakfast (includes the continental items). Both breakfasts include drinks. Also kids (15 and under) eat for free. Ample free parking is available and it is not obligatory to purchase from the venue.
