Number 1894 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
This is a simple offset multi and there is no cache to be found at the published coordinates although you will have to gather some information to gain the final coordinates.
You may forgive yourself for thinking that you are seeing double. Unusually here there is not one, or even two phone boxes, but four! This must be quite unusual for a small rural town.
A bit of research has found that Ripon Market Square also has four together, Blackpool 8, Preston 9 and 12 in Kingston-upon-Thames although there is a question whether the latter group are still standing. I am sure there are more places with four or more.
At the coordinates gather this information. Ignore the area code (01874):
The post box number LDA B00D
The phone boxes are numbered 1 - 4 right to left
Phone box 1 - 1st digit = C
Phone box 2 - 2nd digit = D
Phone box 3 - 5th digit = E
Phone box 4 - 3rd digit = F
The final coordinates are
N 51 56.(F+B)(Ax2)(E-C) W 003 23.(D+B)(AxB)(D+F)
