For many years Melin Boy was a major part of the south Wales geocaching scene. He had found over 15000 of caches and set over 600. Many of his caches are now being maintained by Shyalot and friends. I am sure that many of you will have found a few of these.
He hosted 80 or more events. These included organising the South Wales Geocachers Annual Event since 2017, a camping weekend full of events and new caches. He passed away unexpectantly in October 2025 but his legacy continues.
Melin Boy also drove the T6 bus between Swansea and Brecon for many years. That bus starts/finishes at this bus interchange. Perhaps he sat on this seat when he had a break between journeys.
