FOR GNOME’S SAKE.
Back in 2020 we put in placed three caches in a series we called GNOMES. Each cache had part of a co-ordinate to find the secret location of a fourth cache. In the six years this cache has been out there only 24 geocachers have found it.
We put this down to a long way to walk (5.3km or 1325m per cache) for little reward.
To encourage geocachers to get out and find our GNOME SERIES and enjoy the area we have decide to add a further 13 caches to the walk (only 312m on average between cashes). The walk is an easy walk along well-defined, almost flat firm sandy fire breaks.
The Park has been reserved for the purpose of conservation of flora and fauna as well as scientific research, science education and low impact recreation. There is plenty of birdlife and animal life to be seen while walking.
Keep your eyes out for the three GNOME CACHES and record the hints given. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised.
