This is a nice off-leash dog walking area.  Every dog we met was friendly… and so were the owners!

There is lots of parking up by Westhill Pool and the trails are obvious.  Don't try to access from Barnet Highway - there is no parking and no access to the trail from there.

I was told that this trail was built by a Postie who lost his job during Covid and decided to keep himself busy.  The stairs he built in places are starting to fall away so watch your step.   Take a break an relax on the bench in his Shedin the Woods overlooking the stream.
