Welcome to this lovely, leafy corner of Maunu! Whether you are a local resident or just passing through, Puriri Park offers a quiet escape and a perfect spot for a bit of geocaching fun.
The Story Behind the Cache This cache is extra special to us. It was conceptualized and crafted by Wyatt during the Riser5s event. After the event concluded, we headed straight out to find the perfect home for it here in the neighborhood. We hope you enjoy the hunt as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
Tips for the Hunt:
-
Stealth Mode: This is a popular area for locals and families, so please keep an eye out for "muggles" while searching.
-
Rehide Well: To ensure the longevity of this cache, please make sure it is tucked back exactly as you found it (or better!) so the next adventurer can enjoy the challenge.
-
Leave No Trace: We love keeping Puriri Park beautiful, so please make sure to take any trash with you.
Happy caching, and we hope you have a fantastic time exploring Maunu!
